Designed for mamas to be, helping to soothe any aches or pains growing a little one can bring. Focusing on safe, mindful movements and breathwork you can take with you into labour. These classes are designed to facilitate safe yoga practice and deepen your connection with baby. As well as a chance to meet other mamas to be and join an established community of mums!

Suitable for any mama to be 12+ weeks

*N.B - you can join this class earlier than 12 weeks, this is down to your preference. Typically the first trimester you may feel more unwell, fatigued and generally just not feeling ‘up to it’ - however this is all personal preference and you are more than welcome to join when the time feels right for you.*

This is a great class! Lovely women, lovely atmosphere and Ellie is fab, really knows her stuff! I always feel better after class!!
I’m a bit of a couch potato normally so I did find the classes a bit difficult at first but since going from quite early on in my pregnancy I find them easier each week and  there are moves you can do at home between classes to help with any pain which is inevitable later on in your pregnancy.
The benefits of these classes  far outweigh me being initially not very good!! 
I really would recommend for anyone of any ability!!

Pelvic Floor & Adaptions in Strength Training Workshop

Ellie was very informative and the practical sessions along with it made it very interesting.  It is very important for every woman to be aware of this common problem and I wish more awareness is created about pelvic floor health much earlier on.

Postnatal Pilates

Lovely class as a new mum, I did the prenatal yoga and really enjoyed this to get ready for birth, to come back and see El and push myself on a Monday morning is exactly what's needed! Would recommend to anyone and everyone

Always wanted to try Pilates and found Ells class where I can take my baby as well. I was worried the class would be more for babies but it was a class that was more for mums but also involved your baby nicely. It’s also a free space so don’t worry about your baby getting restless, need feeding etc.

CLASS SESSION:

1) Please advise us before commencing any session if, for any reason, your health or ability to exercise changes.

2) This yoga class offers safe exercises which are suitable for all stages of pregnancy & postpartum, however it is always best to consult with your doctor or midwife before starting yoga classes.

3) These sessions are not a substitute for any medical treatment.

4) The teacher can accept no liability for personal injury related to participation in a session if:
a. Your doctor has, on health grounds, advised you not to perform an exercise
b. You fail to observe instructions on safe techniques
c. Injury caused by another participant within the class/studio

5) Exercise should be performed at a pace which feels comfortable to you. Refrain from comparing your session to other students within the class as everyone's experience and stage of pregnancy or postpartum will differ.

6) If at any point you feel uncomfortable in the session, please hold back and inform your teacher.

7) Please make every effort to arrive to class on time, if you are running late - do not worry or rush, simply drop me a note on 07725401935 and I will open the door once you arrive.

8) In relation to point 7) the studio door will be locked 5 minutes after the class is scheduled to start (unless all participants have arrived) this is for safety reasons

9) Please make every effort to be respectful to other students (and teacher) in class, these classes have been designed to create a safe space for mamas to be with a community feel. Any behaviour which is deemed disrespectful will not be tolerated and will result in any class bookings to be cancelled with no refund.

BOOKINGS:

1) All bookings are to be paid via the booking system

2) Bookings must be made in advance so I can class plan and prepare the studio space

3) Bookings are non transferable

Hey, I'm Ellie

I'm a qualified Yoga Teacher & Personal Trainer who specialises in Pre & Postnatal.

I have always found the female body truly fascinating, so I knew specialising in pregnancy and beyond was going to be my calling. 

I can truly appreciate what the female body goes through during pregnancy having recently given birth myself. I know the importance of keeping our growing bodies strong throughout all trimesters and beyond.

Yoga really helped me on my personal journey in pregnancy, which is why I feel so thankful I can share this with other women. 

My style of teaching also has an influence of strength training as I believe yoga and strength go hand in hand - even in pregnancy. In my classes expect breath-work, a gentle flow, core and pelvic floor work, along with deepening your connection with your baby (in utero or earth side!)
